Western Canadian Alliance

Editorial Standards

Last updated January 2026

The Alliance Journal maintains rigorous editorial standards. All submissions are reviewed by the editorial council before publication. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of their work.

Submission Guidelines

Articles must be original, unpublished work directly relevant to Western Canadian politics, policy, or strategy. Submissions are accepted from Strategist-tier members and above.

Research Standards

Claims must be substantiated with verifiable sources. Speculation should be clearly labeled as analysis or opinion. The council reserves the right to request citations.

Review Process

All submissions enter a queue reviewed by the editorial council within 5–7 business days. Authors receive notification of approval, rejection, or requested revisions.

Moderation

Content that violates Alliance community standards — including harassment, defamation, or deliberate disinformation — will be rejected and may result in membership review.

Corrections

Factual errors in published articles should be reported to the council. Corrections are appended to the original article with a timestamp.

Prohibited Content

Personal attacks, unverified allegations against named individuals, and content that could expose the Alliance to legal liability are strictly prohibited.
